'Glee': Heather Morris's Future In Question After Season 4 Finale

Bye, Brittany?!

The actress, who first signed on as Brittany S. Pierce in Season 1 of the Fox musical dramedy just to do a dance to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), does not have a deal for Season 5 of "Glee, according to The Hollywood Reporter. But E! News reports that Morris is not alone: None of the "Glee" stars have Season 5 contracts yet.

Do not read on if you have not yet seen the Season 4 finale of "Glee," titled "All or Nothing."

The "Glee" Season 4 finale saw Brittany leave McKinley High before the year was over after being granted early admission to MIT. Sources told THR that Morris could potentially return for "Glee" Season 5 either as a regular or recurring guest star, the latter of which would be similar to the way the show handled Quinn (Dianna Agron), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Puck (Mark Salling) and Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) graduating after the Season 3 finale.

One thing that could affect Morris's fate on "Glee": It was revealed in April that she is pregnant. Another insider told E! News that the pregnancy makes it "somewhat unlikely" that Morris will return as a series regular on "Glee" for Season 5, "however it's almost certain we will see her again 'in some capacity,'" the website reports.

Though Morris only recurred on Season 1 of "Glee," her hilarious one-liners and scene-stealing skills impressed creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who gave her more screen time and even a romance with fellow Cheerio Santana (Naya Rivera) after fans were vocal about wanting to see the two friends get together.

The Huffington Post's requests for comment from Fox and Morris's representative were not immediately returned.

"Glee" will return for Season 5 during the 2013-2014 Fox season.
