'Glee' Covering One Direction: Matthew Morrison Talks 'What Makes You Beautiful'

One Direction is about to get even more popular. The British-Irish boy band winning the hearts of girls across the world will have one of their songs get the cover treatment on Fox's "Glee." According to The Sun, Matthew Morrison says the show will cover "What Makes You Beautiful" in an upcoming episode of the musical series.

"I've just heard of them, they're really taking over the States," Morrison reportedly told The Sun. "They've made it now though, they're on 'Glee'!"

One Direction got its start on the UK version of "The X Factor" where they placed third during Season 7. The group's -- Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson -- "What Makes You Beautiful" topped British charts after its release in September 2011. The single debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 at number 28.

The group performed on NBC's "Today" in March 2012 and will perform at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards and will be the musical guests on the April 7 episode of "Saturday Night Live." One Direction will continue to take the States by storm with their own TV show.

One Direction isn't the only chart-topping artist getting the "Glee" treatment when the show returns from winter hiatus. Darren Criss and guest star Matt Bomer will sing Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" on the Tues., April 10 episode.

No date for the "What Makes You Beautiful" cover has been announced.

"Glee's" spring premiere airs Tues., April 10, 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
