Attention McKinley High: Ricky Martin has arrived!
The pop star hit the "Glee" set this week to begin taping his guest role as a Spanish teacher at TV's most musical high school and the cast was happy to have him.
Leading lady Lea Michele tweeted a photo of herself with Martin and was clearly up for sharing the stage:
The two singers go way back. Michele tweeted: "I've known Ricky since I'm 8 years old! He was in Les Mis on Broadway with me in 1996! Crazy huh?!"
Martin tweeted another shot with many of young cast members on the hit Fox series:
When it was originally reported that the former Menudo member Martin was joining "Glee" in November 2011, TV Line reported that he would headline two musical numbers.
It's been a while since Martin has been on the small screen: "Glee" is his first scripted acting role since 1996's "Barefoot in Paradise," but he also spent two years on "General Hospital" in the mid-'90s and he also appeared in an episode of "The Love Boat" in 1985 before going solo.
