Glen Davis Blocks Pau Gasol Dunk Attempt In Lakers-Magic Game (VIDEO)

Big Baby Rejects Pau

The only way this highlight would make Orlando Magic fans feel even better would be if Glen Davis had rejected Dwight Howard instead of Pau Gasol. But they'll probably be satisfied with this video, along with the win over Howard's Lakers, of course.

Orlando got the best of Los Angeles at the Staples Center on Sunday night, winning 113-103 in the first game between Dwight Howard and his former team. Despite Howard's continued ineptitude at the free throw line (9-21), Gasol was the one making headlines after the loss (at least in L.A.)

With Orlando and L.A. tied at 64 late in the third quarter, the Lakers tried to speed up the pace and score a quick basket after Orlando turned the ball over. Darius Morris delivered a pass to Gasol right under the basket for what looked like an easy two points. But Big Baby, listed at 6'9, flew across the lane and rejected the seven-footer's one-handed dunk attempt.

Gasol ended up watching the final minutes of the fourth quarter from the bench, the second time this has happened since Mike D'Antoni took over as head coach. After the loss, Kobe Bryant called out his teammate, suggesting that it's up to Gasol to change his playing time.

"Put your big-boy pants on," Bryant said, via ESPNLosAngeles. "Just adjust. Just adjust. You can't whine about it. You can't complain about it."
