Glenn Beck Wants His Gift To Mitt Romney Back

Glenn Beck Regrets His Gift To Mitt Romney

This week, radio host Glenn Beck explained the origins of his grudge against Mitt Romney.

"I've never regretted giving anybody anything more than I regretted my gift to Mitt Romney," Beck said on his radio show Monday.

Beck told listeners that he gave Romney a first edition copy of George Washington's 1796 farewell address near the end of the 2012 campaign, and complained that the former Republican presidential candidate never said "thank you."

“I gave it to his son and I said, 'This is my personal copy,'" Beck said. "They're really rare and expensive, and I never even got a thank you note. Never even got a thank you note. Pisses me off to this day."

He added that he would "gladly" take back the gift, which he said cost $30, if Romney returned it.
