Sohail Yaqub, Qais Sheikh and Usman Khalid from UKVibe.TV, an organisation ‘launched by the youth, to inspire the youth’ are travelling to Pakistan to film a special edition of their YouTube series – ‘Success Stories’.

At UKVibe.TV, it is believed that holding a positive attitude is the key foundation to motivating young people to make positive changes to the world around them, whatever their background. Primarily, they create documentary-styled videos on YouTube of remarkable individuals and organisations that are changing the world for the better. They also focus on producing other digital content on social media to enlighten, motivate and inspire others.

'Success Stories' is a YouTube series produced by UKVibe.TV giving our youth the opportunity to hear the journeys of some of the most influential and inspirational people of today. To date, they have filmed eighteen episodes of Success Stories, with over 600,000 views on their YouTube channel. The team are hoping the special edition focus on Pakistan will help them learn more about the culture, whilst also reaching a larger audience. Like every country, Pakistan has its own entrepreneurs, influencers and successful figures who have all experienced completely different walks of life. Hence, those starring will be varied from start-up founders and tech geniuses to actors and athletes.

“This is about understanding other people’s lives, their struggles, failures and successes that are completely different to the ones we have already featured. A country mired in political unrest, people are still creating content, launching businesses and living it up.”

The team are planning on visiting different cities in Pakistan, to film ten episodes of ‘Success Stories’ with ten individuals who they believe are the game-changers of Pakistan. The media coverage will also extend to the release of behind the scenes footage, documenting the journey and filming process of UKVibe.TV, whilst they are abroad. Finally, towards the end of the trip, Sohail and the rest of the team will be giving students at a University in Pakistan the opportunity to get a first look at the episodes and partake in a short Q&A session.

“The whole expedition would not be possible without the help of the ZVM Rangoonwala Foundation who are based in London and other parts of the world. They have contributed funds that have enabled us to make this happen. We are extremely grateful to have this opportunity and the support from both the ZVM Rangoonwala Foundation and the Pakistan High Commission in London.”

After several months of planning, UKVibe.TV are excited to finally announce the project will commence in April of this year! They are open to any suggestions for who they should feature on their series, places to visit and people to meet in Pakistan – they can be contacted via Twitter @UKVibeTV.

If you would like more information regarding UKVibe.TV, their Pakistan project, or if you would like to chat to the team, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Sohail Yaqub (Founder of UKVibe.TV) at ukvibetv[at]gmail.com.
