Global Warming: Drudge Rebels Against the Dark Side

In a sudden show of common sense, Matt Drudge has risen from the muck to take on the issue that poses the primary threat to civilization. Faithful Drudge Report readers have taken note in recent months as Drudge has made global warming a principal feature on his site. Like the ending of Return of the Jedi, where Lord Vader, prompted by concern for his offspring, rebels against the dark side, Drudge has turned against the forces of ignorance and greed who once assumed his unquestioned loyalty. Today Drudge links to not one but two global warming stories and leads with the headline “Clinton, McCain Launch ‘Global Warming’ Warning”. Maybe Drudge will go one step further and join the Virtual March On Washington. Either way, I never thought the day would come that I would say: "Thank You, Darth Drudge... May the Force Be With You!"
