"Futurist," the new single from indie outfit Golden Coast, one of LA's most exciting new acts is a swanky, too-cool affair, and just the kind of song we need as we drag ourselves through the rest of winter. The track has an island feel, which is really where we'd all rather be, right?

The chorus encourages a group sing-a-long, as though it were made just for that. The mix of drums and easygoing production makes this one go down super easy, and those guitar licks? The guys of Golden Coast really knew what they were doing on this one, making you feel wonderful and entertaining you all the while.

Golden Coast are making a run for the title of the next electro/indie-pop group to break out from the underground and into the mainstream.
