Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have both received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame ― and they made it look like the most fun ever.
The stars, who have been together for 33 years and in show business for 50 years, were joined by Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon and Quentin Tarantino to accept the honor Thursday in Los Angeles.
“Can we just get married? We’ve never had a celebration like this before,” Hawn joked while accepting her star, according to People magazine. “This means more to me as I start reflecting on things. I was a dancer and I carried my dancing shoes up here looking for an agent. I couldn’t find an agent, I found a fabulous dentist but I couldn’t find an agent.”
“Goldie to you, I owe my wonderful life,” Russell said during his speech. “Simply put Goldie, I cherish you. All of the stars in the sky or the boulevard don’t hold a candle to that. There’s no one else I’d rather be next to than Goldie Hawn.”
Both Hawn and Russell are currently promoting movies ― her comedy “Snatched,” co-starring Amy Schumer, and his new role in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
The timing is “really fun. We both didn’t really know when they were going to be released,” told USA Today of their synced press schedules. “We haven’t done that in a long time. And even though we’re (promoting the films) separately it just is a really fun time in our lives.”
It’s pretty clear to see they’re having a blast.
