'Good Friday' Easter Tilt-Shift Miniature Of English Countryside

Good Friday In A Miniature English Village

Good Friday is a solemn Christian holiday that falls two days before Easter Sunday.

In England, hundreds of celebrants from local church groups gathered outside the Gloucestershire town of Dursley to commemorate the day by carrying a wooden cross up Cam Peak, a steep hill outside of town.

Here, film makers Matt Wicks and Duncan McDonald took stills with a Canon 5Dii camera, then used post-production techniques to create the shallow depth of field that makes the already charming English countryside look even more quaint.

Tilt-shift photography has gotten very popular lately. If you're looking for more great examples of tilt-shift videography, check out these cool miniature destinations: Rio de Janeiro, Kiev, Myanmar and Crete.
