Google 'Heart Graph': Geeky Surprise Will Bring You Joy On Valentine's Day (PICTURES, VIDEO)

Sure, there's no real equation for love, but there is a pretty useful one that'll make you feel loved by Google.

Simply type the following function into Google's search bar...

(sqrt(cos(x))*cos(400*x)+sqrt (abs(x))-0.4)*(4-x*x)^0.1

...and -- voila -- Google will give you its heart, in a manner of speaking.

Take a look at the picture (below) to see the special image that appears when you query Google with the right equation.

Mashable wrote about this goodie last week after Twitter user @Huckberry tweeted about the fun function, which the user called a "nerd heart" equation.

This awesomely geeky heart-shaped graph is made possible by Google's addition of graphing functionality to its search bar, which the web giant announced last December.

According to Geekosystem, "the [...] feature covers a wide range of single variable functions, including exponential, trigonometric, logarithmic and their compositions."

In other words, with these mathematical capabilities, you can also graph fun images like the Batman symbol, for example. (See below.)
