Gordon Klingenschmitt Defends Russia's Gay Law, Says 'Recruiting' Kids Into Being LGBT Deserves Death

You Should Have The 'Death Penalty' If You 'Recruit' Kids Into Being Gay, Pundit Claims

"Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt is defending Russia's controversial " gay propaganda" legislation, saying that being lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) was "against God's law."

As Right Wing Watch first reported, Klingenschmitt (a former Navy chaplain whose opposition to the LGBT community is well-established) argued in favor of the Russian law on a broadcast of his "Pray In Jesus Name" program.

"I think it should be illegal to recruit minors into homosexual sin," he said. He said that the media had misconstrued much of the implications of Russia's laws: "It's just that they don't want propaganda printed for their children, recruiting their kids into that sinful lifestyle."

He went on to note, "If you're recruiting children into sin, Jesus says you should have the death penalty."

In recent months, Klingenschmitt has argued against both same-sex marriage and gay parenting.
