Cowboys Defense 'More Porous Than The Texas Border,' Says Man In Charge Of Texas Border

Statistically speaking, that appears to be true.

Texas governor Greg Abbott has just had it with this Dallas Cowboys defense! It's horrible! But on Sunday, Abbott wondered what the perfect metaphor for the situation could be. Perhaps the very border of which he is in charge!

Funnily enough, there is evidence that the rate of undocumented immigration into the U.S. has dropped to levels not seen in decades. And earlier this year, around the time Abbott fast-tracked an $800 million border security package into law, crime in Texas' very southern Rio Grande Valley was at an all-time low, according to The Texas Tribune.

It's enough to make you wonder: Was there a more apt comparison?
