'Grey's Anatomy's' Possibly Pregnant Characters: Ellen Pompeo And Sarah Drew Talk Babies

So Which 'Grey's Anatomy' Character Is Actually Pregnant?

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read on if you have not yet seen Season 9, Episode 7 of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," titled "I Was Made for Lovin' You," which aired on November 29.

Between Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) surprise pregnancy and April's (Sarah Drew) worry that she was pregnant with Jackson's (Jesse Williams) child, there was a lot of baby talk on "Grey's Anatomy" this week.

Despite Meredith's determination to keep the news a secret, Pompeo told TVLine that Cristina (Sandra Oh), figures it out on her own.

"She sees me eating, and [notices] my boobs got big -- which is funny because, obviously, my boobs didn’t get bigger," Pompeo said. "But Cristina says to Derek, 'I know. I already know. She'll tell me when she’s ready.'"

Meredith does eventually tell her co-workers what's going on ... and she certainly doesn't do it gradually.

"[The whole gang] goes to dinner but [Mer] can’t drink and she’s forced to tell them why," Pompeo explained.

The pious April, meanwhile, dealt with her own struggles in this week's episode when she realized she may be having a baby with Jackson. But when she expressed her relief over not having to marry Jackson after she found out she's not pregnant, he got the wrong message.

"What's communicated to him at the end of this episode is, 'Oh, you don't want this,'" Drew told THR. "That's not necessarily true for April, it's just she's so totally relieved that she doesn't have to have a shotgun wedding coming from the background she's coming from."

"Grey's Anatomy" airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
