Hold on to your hearts, "Grey's" fans.
"Grey's Anatomy" has finally released a trailer for Season 11, and it looks like it's a tough road ahead for MerDer.
The promo opens with a scene from Season 10 with Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) telling her McDreamy husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) that she's not going to Washington, D.C. And then things get real.
April (Sarah Drew) says McDreamboat is "dying inside," there's some emotional hugging and Meredith admits, "I just don't know if my marriage can survive this."
Showrunner Shonda Rhimes has already said, “It’s really a Meredith-centric season,” reports TV Line, and, from the look of the trailer, that means to get your tissues ready.
"Grey's Anatomy" returns Thursday, September 25, at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
