If you want to see the love a groom has for his partner-to-be, watch his face on their wedding day. The overwhelming joy and excitement of the first look -- be it before the ceremony or walking down the aisle -- makes for one of the most memorable parts of the day, and in the last few years, more and more couples have been asking their photographers to document the occasion. While some brides and grooms prefer to see each other for the first time at the ceremony, many couples have taken advantage of the opportunity to share a special, private moment prior to the vow exchange. This not only gives brides- and grooms-to-be the opportunity to share a few sentimental words before the celebration begins, but it also provides couples with a chance to always remember the once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Below, we've rounded up a few of our favorite First Look photos -- images that serve as an emotional reminder of the true meaning of weddings.
