Guide Dog In Training Gets All Goofy When He Meets Pluto At Disneyland

Disney truly is the happiest place on earth for one cute pup.

Apparently Disney really is where dreams come true -- even for dogs.

Ace, a guide dog in training for Guide Dogs of America, got the opportunity to meet Pluto during a visit to Disneyland, and his reaction, seen in the video below, is truly magical.

The yellow Lab, who formally started his training late January, was at the Anaheim, California, theme park for a few hours as a socialization experience, which Ace was acing until he laid eyes of his hound hero.

“This was a training outing and I was too far back to do a proper correction,” Sandy Steinblums, his volunteer trainer, said on the Disney Dorks Facebook page where the video is posted. “But golly-be .... he responded anyway. Yep! That is my boy and I am proud of him and love the Disney characters for being so kind and helpful!”

In the video, Steinblums can be heard saying “stay” and “down,” which the pup eventually does, but not without an excited tail wag.

Ace still has six to nine more months of extensive training with licensed professionals before he officially becomes a guide dog, which is plenty of time to correct his impulsive behavior. But let’s just say that very early on in his guide education this goofy dog got his day.
