What if we were only a few moments away from being fully at ease and connected to ourselves?
It sounds too good to be true, but part of meditation aims to do exactly that (and there's research to prove it). Just setting aside a few minutes for the practice each day has been proven to reduce stress, lower depression risks and is even linked to positive changes in the brain -- not bad considering we usually spend longer than that plugged into our phones or tuned in to an episode of "House of Cards."
