Gwen Stefani Bares Her Soul Performing 'I Used To Love You' At The AMAs

Get your tissues ready.

After all her divorce drama with Gavin Rossdale, at least Gwen Stefani was able to channel that pain into a hit song.

As expected, the 46-year-old singer gave an emotional performance of "I Used To Love You" at the American Music Awards on Sunday night.

Stefani was introduced by "Clueless" co-stars Alicia Silverstone and Jeremy Sisto, whose iconic teen movie was released 20-years ago and featured No Doubt's "Just A Girl" on its soundtrack.

Stefani debuted the breakup track in October at her first performance since announcing her divorce in August. While the singer is already dating Blake Shelton, it's clear she hasn't put the heartache of her divorce behind her.

"I feel like I go back and listen to a lot of that stuff, and I get sick," Stefani said in a radio interview following rumors that Rossdale cheated on her with their children's nanny for more than three years. "You look at the song and you go 'That was a red flag. That was a moment where I was feeling just as bad as I feel today and why did I keep it up?'"
