There's No Doubt: Gwen Stefani Will Join 'The Voice'

She's In

This news is bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

Tuesday, April 29, host Carson Daly kicked off "The Voice" with a special announcement that No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani will join the show this fall as a new coach.

"This all just happened moments ago because we're live, and we're very happy to officially announce that two superstars will be joining the next season in these coaches' chairs. Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani will be added to "The Voice" family," said Daly.

Stefani will replace Christina Aguilera, who is expecting her second child. Aguilera is expected to be back for Season 8 of the show in the spring, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stefani is joined in the coaches' chairs by fellow newcomer Pharrell Williams and veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Rumors of Stefani joining a show have been circulating for more than a week, but it was unconfirmed whether it would be "The Voice" or ABC's "Rising Star" because no one could get her to "Holla Back" #ClassicStefani.

To welcome the new judges, Stefani and Williams will perform on "The Voice" Monday, May 5.

"The Voice" airs Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
