See A Heroic Andrew Garfield Try To Save Vince Vaughn's Life In This 'Hacksaw Ridge' Clip

Mel Gibson's war movie opens Nov. 4.

If Andrew Garfield doesn’t already make you swoon, wait until you see “Hacksaw Ridge.” In the Mel Gibson–directed film, Garfield plays Desmond Doss, a conscientious objector who enlisted as a World War II medic despite his refusal to kill enemy soldiers. Doss saved the lives of many of his comrades in battle and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism.

The Huffington Post has an exclusive clip that shows Doss in action, attempting to rescue his wounded sergeant (Vince Vaughn), who at first questioned Doss’ ability to contribute to the squadron sans weapons. Watch Garfield fulfill your hero fantasies below, and again when the movie opens Nov. 4.
