Would You Call 911 If You Saw This?

Fake dead bodies are always funny -- or that's what one Oklahoma man is claiming after he landed himself in hot water over a very realistic Halloween prank.

Johnnie Mullins of Mustang, Ok., went all out this year for the ghoulish holiday, decorating his yard with ghosts and tombstones. But it was the two realistic-looking dead bodies in his driveway that had some neighbors crying foul (and at least one calling 911), reports local station News 9.

Mullins positioned one "dead body" to look like its head had been crushed by the garage door. A second body was placed under a car in the driveway, as if it had been run over.

While Mullins insists he was just getting into the spirit of the holiday, neighbor Rebecca Fuentes was less than pleased.

"My heart about came out of my chest. I thought, ‘Oh my God,'" Fuentes told News 9. "If I think it's real, just think of what a child would think?"

Mullins has the support of New Jersey radio station NJ101.5, which gave the homeowner "kudos" for "recognizing what others may have forgotten about the holiday -- it’s all in good fun!"

Halloween certainly has a long history of freaking people out. Who can forget magician Rich Ferguson's terrifying headless prank last year, or the Carrie-inspired publicity stunt that had patrons at a Manhattan coffee shop screaming in terror last week.

What do you think about Mullins' decorations? Are they brilliant or do they go too far? Watch the video (above) to see the grisly scene he crafted, then share your thoughts in the comments.
