'Happy Endings': Mark-Paul Gosselaar Is Max's New Roomie

Max got a cool new roommate in Chase, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar, on the latest "Happy Endings." While Max had initially vowed to stay out of Chase's life, he changed his mind when he saw all of the awesome furniture Chase brought into the apartment. He also paid five months rent in advance.

But when he didn't come home one night, Max began to worry. Alex, Dave and Max decided to figure out where he could be and save him -- possibly from a bear, or at least that's what Alex suspected. But when they tracked him down, they found out he was at a restaurant with his wife and confronted him. They'd already met his girlfriend back at the apartment.

It turned out that Chase had decided to move in with Max to use his place as a love shack so he could sleep around on his wife. Needless to say, she didn't take this too well. And since Chase worked for her father, he found himself without a wife and a job.

"Sometime, in the near future, I am going to ruin your life like you ruined mine," Chase warned Max. While there's no word on Gosselaar returning to "Happy Endings," it looks like it would be a great confrontation if he did.

For now, "Happy Endings" has settled back into its Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST slot. ABC cancelled those Sunday night airings due to lower ratings.
