PHOTOS: The Best Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Lineup Yet?

As if you needed any more San Francisco music coverage in your life this week. But, seriously. The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass lineup has been announced and you've gotta see this.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass -– the free, annual three-day music festival in Golden Gate Park –- is in its eleventh season and the lineup has only gotten better. While past bluegrass and country favorites like Willie Nelson and Old Crow Medicine Show aren't on the roster, HSB is making up for the absence with some big-name non-bluegrass acts. Most specifically: Broken Social Scene. Though frontman Kevin Drew made elusive remarks at the April 13 show at The Warfield that the performance would be the band's last in SF (sparking rumors about a breakup), they will grace the city once again at HSB.

Other notable performers include M. Ward, Bright Eyes, The Devil Makes Three, Those Darlins, Robert Plant, Kurt Vile, Merle Haggard, DeVotchKa, Thurston Moore and about a million others. And as usual, the festival will feature staple HSB names like Emmylou Harris, MC Hammer and Bela Fleck. Check out the full lineup on the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass website.

Might we remind you that Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is a free show, meaning you won't have to shell out $200 for a three-day ticket or avoid showering for fear of losing your wristband. Just get there early. Really, really early.
