Are you ready, Hawaii? It's time.

Here's what you need to know about voting in Hawaii on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The closing time for Hawaii polls is 6 p.m. local time; opening time is set for 7 a.m.

Hawaiian voters are required to bring photo identification with them.

A total of four electoral votes are at stake for Hawaii. Barack Obama captured his home state in the 2008 presidential election and it has voted for the Democratic candidate every year since 1988.
