Panettiere confirmed wedding rumors on "Live with Kelly and Michael in October 2013, when Ripa noticed her stunning diamond ring.
"It wasn't about being overwhelmed by fireworks or a mariachi band," she told the April/May issue of Brides of her engagement. "I think it's amazing when people do that, but I like that mine was simple and from the heart."
As for her baby news, Panettiere officially spilled the beans while taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. In her video, she nominated her "unborn child" and pointed to her growing belly. Shortly after that, the pregnant star walked the red carpet at the 2014 Emmys and revealed she was expecting a girl.
