Let’s start off with a general introduction. How would you describe yourself, what are you all about and how did you get involved in health and fitness?

Me in a nutshell… Most people call me the energizer bunny lol. I am always on the go continually working toward my goals and dreams and always moving my body in someway. I have been involved in the fitness industry for about 5 years now.

It all started as I was prepping for my wedding looking to get into the best shape of my life so I hired a trainer and entered in my first fitness competition and never looked back. I am a multi sponsored athlete and the owner and creator of my healthy baking/cooking app called Mrs. Cannons kitchen available in your app store.

Its an app that has heaps of baking / cooking ideas that get reloaded weekly with new healthy versions of everyone's favourite guilty treats with half the calories and heaps more protein.

Beyond baking and working out - I know you get plenty of cardio through belly dancing and dirt biking - tell us about that!

Yes I am a huge tomboy and girly girl all in one. I am a professional bellydancer in Vancouver BC and dance professionally at restaurants / parties and weddings almost every weekend.

It is a great way to perform and get your cardio in and make money all at the same time. My other passion is dirt biking. My husband and I are currently in California for the holidays dirtbiking and enjoying all the local motocross tracks. It’s an amazing sport that is not only fast and extreme (totally up my alley) it;s another killer full body workout.

And you turned pro, and recently were featured in a huge international magazine, congratulations! Can you tell us more about that experience and learning about fitness and nutrition has changed your life?

I am planning on stepping on stage again this year, I love it so much being on stage and training hard for it. The WBFF is my favorite organization to compete with. The glam and the glitz; can’t go wrong with that.

Yes my big goal was achieved last year, I had my cover with Women's Health & Fitness! Noel Daganta and I had a shoot in mind that was geared towards this cover so I trained for this shoot and set my goals high and went for it! Last December I got the amazing news and I am so blessed!

How important have the people around you been when it comes to your success?

My closest friends and hubby are my biggest supporters and have been so amazing and helpful in me following my dreams and goals. Unfortunately I had to let a few friends go along the way only because I found negative drama was not needed in my life any more. Having fewer best friends than heaps of so called friends is much better on the heart and mind.

You're very competitive in nature, I know you're getting ready to prepare for some competitions as well, what drives you to compete?

I love to compete with me. Whether it's on the stage, in the gym, at dance or whatever I do, I love to be better the second time around, consistently push myself to a better me. I can't wait for this year!

What do you feel it takes to be a winner in life?

Easy … Having your health and someone to share your life with is the key to being a winner in life, everything else is icing on the cake. Without your health you don’t have much and someone to share your goals and dreams and is behind you in where you want to go together.

What has been your most valuable lesson this far in your fitness journey?

Just do it, get up get out and do your best. Surround yourself with positive people that have a like minded attitude.

Where can people go to learn more about you online?
