The ever-stylish Helen Mirren proved once again she can do no wrong on the red carpet. The 69-year-old actress stunned at last night's Met Gala in a crimson cut-out dress by Dolce and Gabbana, revealing a lot of leg and even a glimpse of her bra.
The evening's theme was "China: Through the Looking Glass" and red was the predominant color of the night. Although there were plenty of revealing gowns around, Mirren opted to take a more tasteful approach, wearing a matching red bra under her see-through dress, rather than going without.
She accessorized with matching statement earrings, her trademark red lips and, of course, her husband, Taylor Hackford, who walked her down the red carpet.
Mirren was featured on several Met Gala best-dressed lists including those from Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, alongside other stylish post-50 celebrities, including Cher, Madonna and Julianne Moore. Check out their looks below.
