Is it just us or are the supermodels of the '90s suddenly everywhere?
The era of one-name supers -- Cindy, Claudia, Naomi, Christie -- seems to be upon us again. This week, it's Helena Christensen whose getting another moment in the spotlight, covering FutureClaw Magazine with a seriously sexy, partially nude spread.
Photographed by Gregory Derkenne, the 44-year-old legend poses in her own New York apartment wearing much of her own wardrobe with a heavy emphasis on vintage lace slips and tanks. Then, of course, there's a completely naked shot, the fashion credits for which simply read, "Wow."
Wow is right -- Helena hasn't lost one bit of her lustre, like so many of her '90s modeling peers. 59-year-old Christie Brinkley recently scored a swimsuit shoot for Social Life magazine, Cindy Crawford posed pantsless on the June cover of Muse, Naomi Campbell kicked off Couture Week in July by opening Atelier Versace's runway show and Christy Turlington was announced as the new face (and body) of Calvin Klein Underwear this past spring.
Young "It Girls," watch your backs -- the supermodels are making a comeback.
