Here Are Nearly Five Full Minutes Of 'Ghost In The Shell'

Take advantage of this extended look.

The folks behind “Ghost in the Shell” are letting you test-drive the movie before you buy.

Paramount released a nearly five-minute clip of the sci-fi thriller on Wednesday, more than a week before it opens in the U.S.

Lead actress Scarlett Johansson, who plays a cyber-enhanced fighter of terrorism, has seen box-office success in action fare. But perhaps the studio is hoping to reel in more fans after the production faced criticism of whitewashing for casting the actress as Major Motoko Kusanagi, an Asian character. The movie is adapted from a Japanese manga.

Whatever the case may be, an extended look at the beginning will give you a better idea of whether to make that leap into purchasing a ticket.
