Here’s What It Looks Like To Have A Ronaldo Kick Fly At Your Face

The fan called this moment an "awesome memory."

Earlier this month, Canadian soccer fan Sarah Arcand was lucky enough to grab some prime real estate behind the goal at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid's stadium, during the team's 4-0 victory over Sevilla.

She should've gotten video of a signature Cristiano Ronaldo penalty, but instead of capturing footage of the superstar slotting it home, the ball nailed her in the face, producing the above humorously titled video, "Welcome to Bernabeu."

LOOKOUT!

In the video's description, Arcand said she only walked away with a black eye, which is remarkable in and of itself. Ronaldo's errant, wicked shots, which can travel up to 80 mph, have broken fans' arms before, so Arcand is lucky she doesn't need a new nose.

But despite the obvious pain and suffering, she took the hit as any Ronaldo superfan would: with pain-soothing pride. As she wrote on YouTube:

Lucky enough to visit from Canada and see Real Madrid vs Sevilla. Not sure that Cristiano Ronaldo meant to welcome me with a black eye but this Canadian football fan will take the penalty kick to the face as an excellent memory from one of the best. What are the chances :). Wish I coulda kept the ball.

On Twitter, she described the jarring hit as an "awesome memory."

The last time Ronaldo injured a fan with one of his powerful kicks, he gave him the shirt off his back. Hopefully Arcand scores some Ronaldo swag for her chill.
