"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again" -- Unknown

More often than not, we see the hardship and downfall of the human spirit across our news feeds and television stations. But, what about the triumph of the human spirit? The compassion? The will to do what we can to make the world a better place?

In this very minute, all over the world, there are people who are volunteering their time to help others, to support causes that they believe in, and to make a positive difference for the people in their communities. These are the people that make the world work, and thrive, and live. Their efforts often go unrecognized by the public because they are to humble to take credit for their courageous efforts, which is why I have decided to create a platform called The Heroes of Humanity in order to highlight some of these amazing men, women, and children. What inspires them to volunteer their time and serve others? What is their motivation? Did something occur in their life to choose this path? What life lessons can they share with us? These are some of the questions that will be showcased in their individual profiles.

Every person has an experience and a story to tell. These are the stories of people that inspire me and the people around them.
