HGTV's ‘Curb Appeal: The Block' Gives Fraud Victims' Home A Much Needed Makeover (VIDEO)

Video shows amazing transformation.

When Dave Lang's boss was accused of real estate fraud, he and his wife Kathleen lost a lot. They no longer had their savings, the money for their daughter's college tuition and most certainly funds to go towards fixing up their once well-kept home. And though "HGTV's Curb Appeal: The Block" couldn't replace the money the couple had lost, they were able to lend a hand with sprucing up their home's exterior.

Designer John Gidding and his team made simple changes that added major curb appeal to the home. They repainted the entire exterior, adding a pop of color to the door and porch. This, along with new patio furniture and major landscaping with lush green plants, took this home from sad to fab.

We're particularly fond of how the designers removed the old concrete path and created a meeting point in front of the stairs. It gives the exterior a cohesive look and definitely creates a grand entrance.
