'High School Musical' Cast Reunites To Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

But Zac Efron was like, nah.

Before we get into this mess, LOL at Disney for treating the anniversary of "High School Musical" like some highbrow Akira Kurosawa retrospective in need of some serious reflection.

In case you needed a reminder of how old you are, the TV musical sensation that spawned two sequels turns 10 years old this month, and Disney is going to celebrate the hell out of it, because we're all in this together.

"High School Musical" stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman recently reunited in a gym made to look like the Wildcats' home court to film segments that will air during the anniversary telecast on Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. ET.

Disney apparently couldn't throw enough money at Zac Efron to appear with his co-stars in person, so Troy Bolton will pre-tape a video message to fans. Seriously, Zac Efron hates "High School Musical" only slightly less than Robert Pattinson hates "Twilight." Must be the glitter factor.

Those who did attend shared photos of the reunion on Instagram, with Hudgens writing that she'll "love [the cast] forever."

I'll love them forever ❤️❤️❤️

We guess this means the world will probably have to suffer through a 15th and 20th anniversary of the franchise. In fact, we'd bet on it.
