Highest-Paid Actors On TV 2012: Ashton Kutcher Tops Forbes List

TV's Highest-Paid Actors Are ...

Ashton Kutcher is the highest-paid actor on TV, according to Forbes. The magazine reports the "Two and a Half Men" star took in about $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012.

Forbes factored in Kutcher's investments, film salaries and his reported $700,000 an episode salary for "Two and a Half Men." His co-star, recent Emmy winner Jon Cryer, also made the list. According to Forbes, Cryer making about $13 million a year.

Kutcher replaces last year's top earner in more ways than one. Charlie Sheen previously topped Forbes' list, but is nowhere to be seen this year after leaving "Two and a Half Men." Kutcher was brought in to take his place on the CBS sitcom. More of the networks' actors -- Mark Harmon, Jason Segel and the stars of "The Big Bang Theory" -- also made the list.

In their calculations of the highest-paid actors on TV, Forbes included other projects, including records and various deals. The list, which can be seen in the gallery below, will sure look different next year when Alec Baldwin's "30 Rock" ends and Hugh Laurie's "House" work is no longer a factor.
