Hilary Duff's Video For 'Sparks' Chronicles Her Tinder Adventures

Hilary Duff's New Music Video Is Pretty Much Just A Tinder Ad

Hilary Duff was not catfishing the world when she said she was on Tinder. The pop star is actually using the dating app, and it's all chronicled in her new music video for "Sparks."

The video opens with a clip from when Duff stopped by 104.3 MY FM's "Valentine In The Morning" last month and talked about joining Tinder. It cuts to her eating dinner with friends and joking around about guys on the app before it shows her setting up her profile. Then she goes on her first date at a bowling alley (which looks exactly like the bowling alley where she reunited with her former "Lizzie McGuire" castmates).

There are some neon-tastic dance breaks in the mix, plus some taglines like, "I never, ever thought I would do something like this, and when I just surrendered to the experience, I had a great time" and "Go do something crazy; go do something you wouldn't do before."

In April, Duff talked to Ryan Seacrest about the bowling date that appears in the video. The night didn't end with a kiss, but she liked him.

“We went bowling, so we didn’t have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually,” she said. “He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he’s an actor and he just wrote a play. He’s an interesting guy. To be honest, I don’t really want an actor either … I think he has a few jobs.”

Duff, who is back on the dating scene after filing for divorce from Mike Comrie in February following a year-long separation, is slated to release her next studio album, "Breathe In, Breathe Out," in June.

A rep for Tinder was not immediately available to comment.
