Hillary Clinton announced her 2016 presidential campaign on Sunday and, unsurprisingly, people had a lot to say about her. In less than an hour, over a dozen major figures had released statements, including daughter Chelsea Clinton, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, and several likely Republican presidential candidates. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) even released his own video chastising her record and promoting his own campaign. Here are some of them:
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D)
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.)
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas)
Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R)
Chelsea Clinton
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.)
Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R)
Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.)
Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D)
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.)
I hope @HillaryClinton will speak out on these and other important issues in the days and weeks ahead. pic.twitter.com/cOGs1z4i9H
