Hillary Clinton brushed off a heckler who repeatedly tried to ask about her husband's sexual past during a town hall in New Hampshire on Sunday.
The woman, Republican state representative Katherine Prudhomme-O’Brien, stood, yelled and waved her hands around in failed attempts to get the Democratic presidential candidate's attention. She wanted to confront the former secretary of state about President Clinton's alleged assault of Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey.
After the third try, Clinton finally acknowledged Prudhomme-O’Brien and said, "You are very rude, and I’m not going to ever call on you."
The crowd erupted in cheers of support.
Prudhomme-O'Brien later told a reporter, "I was a Democrat, but I became a Republican because of this, because of this stuff. Because of what I saw happen in the Clinton years, the hypocrisy of so-called women that fight for women."
Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has frequently attacked Clinton by taking jabs at her husband's sexual affairs when he was president. Last week, the real estate mogul called the assault allegations "fair game."
Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.), who trails behind Clinton in polls, came to his competitor's defense on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday.
"We have got more important things to worry about in this country than Bill Clinton's sex life," Sanders said.
Bill Clinton officially hits the campaign trail on Monday.
In a Facebook post, Prudhomme-O'Brien acknowledged her rudeness, but refused to apologize for her outburst.
"If I could have brought this issue up in any polite way or if people in her campaign really did follow up with me by calling me, I would never have been so impolite. I know I was impolite but in this whole scenario, you are angry at the wrong person, save that anger for Bill Clinton for being a sexual predator or for the woman who enables him-not me," Prudhomme-O'Brien said.
