For Some Reason, Hillary Clinton Was Asked To Comment On Kim Kardashian Robbery

Is now really the time to ask?

Hillary Clinton commented on the horrifying ordeal one of her celebrity supporters, Kim Kardashian, went through when she was held at gunpoint and robbed on Monday morning in Paris.

Though Clinton definitely has more important policies to talk about — her strategy to prevent Trump from being POTUS, maybe — A.J. Calloway of “Extra” decided to ask about her thoughts on the ordeal.

“I felt really bad for her,” the Democratic nominee for president said. “Her husband was in the middle of the concert and he ran offstage, bless his heart. It’s horrible. I’m just glad nobody was hurt.”

Kardashian was in her Paris apartment Monday when two “armed, masked men,” disguised as police officers, broke in. The 35-year-old attempted to call for help ― thinking she was going to be raped ― before she was bound and gagged by the thieves and placed in a bathtub, according to TMZ.

The outlet reports that another person in the apartment, Kardashian’s friend Simone Harouche, managed to contact the reality star’s bodyguard and her sister. Her bodyguard returned to the apartment only minutes after the thieves left with millions of dollars of jewels and some personal items.

Around the time of the robbery, Kanye West was performing at the Meadows Festival in Queens, New York. A man rushed out on stage to inform the rapper of the incident and he abruptly cut his set short.

“I’m sorry,” West said. “I’m sorry, family emergency ― I have to stop the show.”

After giving a statement to police, Kardashian flew to New York City and reunited with West and her mother, Kris Jenner.

Kardashian has yet to comment on the scary situation, but there’s plenty of speculation about how the events went down.
