James Carville: Hillary Clinton Won't Decide On Presidential Run Until 2014 (VIDEO)

James Carville, a longtime advisor to the Clintons who recently joined the Ready For Hillary PAC, said former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won't decide on a 2016 presidential run until 2014.

"We are going to continue to talk about it, and she is not going to make up her mind, probably, until after the midterms," Carville said during a Friday interview on MSNBC. "We're just going to be sitting around here waiting and there's not much we can do about it."

Carville said he doesn't know what Clinton's plans are, and noted she may not even know herself.

"I don't know that, really, that she knows if she's going to run or not," Carville said. "If she feels like that there's a real contribution for her to make then I suspect that she'll decide to run, if she thinks otherwise, she may choose to pursue something else."

Carville teamed up with the Ready For Hillary PAC, calling the work the group is doing "absolutely critical" in an email to supporters on Thursday.

"We need to convert the hunger that's out there for Hillary's candidacy into a real grassroots organization," Carville wrote.

A decision on a potential presidential run isn't the only thing to expect from Clinton in 2014. Publisher Simon & Schuster told The Associated Press Thursday a book by Clinton about years in the Obama administration is tentatively scheduled for June 2014.
