Hillary Clinton Changes Social Avatars To Rainbow Logo Ahead Of Supreme Court Case

Hillary Updates Social Avatars Ahead Of Marriage Equality Case

It's no pantsuit rainbow, but Hillary Clinton's new avatar is looking pretty snazzy.

The 2016 presidential candidate changed her profile picture on Twitter and Facebook to a rainbow version of her campaign logo on Tuesday. The switch came the same day the Supreme Court is set to hear opening arguments in Obergefell v. Hodges, a case expected to determine whether same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry.

Clinton's campaign has already taken a strong stance on marriage equality. The video in which she announced her candidacy featured a gay Chicago couple who later invited the former secretary of state to their wedding.

Clinton hasn't always agreed the nation's highest court was the place to handle the marriage debate, The Washington Post noted. In an interview with NPR's Terry Gross last year, Clinton said for her, marriage had "always been a matter left to the states."

Regardless of timing, the updated logo is looking pretty darn good.
