Hillary Clinton Says Yoga Helped Her Endure The Benghazi Hearing

It seems a little "om" can make anything more bearable.

You've got to have a lot of stamina when you're running for president and testifying before the House Select Committee on Benghazi for over 11 hours. Such is the case for 2016 Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, who spent most of her waking hours (and ours) on Thursday testifying in a committee hearing.

As the former secretary of state was leaving, a Yahoo News reporter asked how she had the endurance for the marathon of a hearing. While flexing her muscles and grinning ever so slightly, Clinton confirmed that "yoga always helps."

Last year, Clinton told People that water aerobics and yoga were her exercises of choice. The New York Times also reported on her stamina-building practice, citing friends who said that she had more energy and was practicing yoga while spending more time on her physical fitness.

How can a person with so much on her plate have room for a couple sun salutations each week? Chances are it's the bendy practice that helps: Yoga has been shown to make people more productive, less stressed and generally happier. As the saying goes, if you don't have time to meditate for 20 minutes, you should meditate for an hour. Perhaps the same can be said for yoga.
