'Hipster Holocaust': Kickstarter-Funded Short Film Kills Half Of Silverlake (VIDEO)

"Just when you thought it was safe to get back on your fixie…"

Half of Silverlake dies a gruesome and bloody death in this new short film, "Hipster Holocaust." It's the story of a dude who snaps after one too many hipster eyerolls because someone didn't have the right shoes, did have brakes on their bike or forgot to wear their sunglasses inside.

And the filmmakers take it all the way with the holocaust thing too. In a recent interview, director Jon D.A. commented that, after Brad Pitt said the starring role was too awesome for him, "We're currently in talks with Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot and Paul Giamattii."

D.A. and his fellow filmmakers funded the film by reaching their $3,000 goal on Kickstarter. After which, they promptly killed their supporters--i.e. sent them drawings of themselves as dead hipsters.
