History-Making Broadway Star Opens Up About Being Bisexual

The actress talks about what does -- and doesn't -- define her.

Ali Stroker, actress and star of "The Glee Project," made history last month as the first person using a wheelchair to perform on Broadway in Deaf West's revival of the musical "Spring Awakening." Stroker, who has been in episodes of the MTV comedy "Faking It" since "The Glee Project," appeared in a recent episode of PBS's "First Person," a YouTube series that discusses queer issues of gender identity and sexuality.

Stroker, who describes herself as differently abled, has been vocal about her use of a wheelchair in the past. In the episode, Stroker opens up about her bisexual identity, and how, like her wheelchair, her sexuality doesn't define her.
