H&M, Isabel Marant Collaboration: New Collection Hits Stores In November (VIDEO)

H&M's New Designer Collaboration: Isabel Marant!

The Parisians are coming!

Isabel Marant and H&M are teaming up for the retailer's latest designer collaboration. H&M announced early this morning that Marant, known for her "boho chic" womenswear, will design a collection of clothing and accessories for women and teenagers, plus her first-ever men's collection, for the Swedish retailer. The collections will hit 250 H&M stores worldwide on November 14.

"I am flattered by this collaboration," Marant said in a press release. "H&M works with the best designers, and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real -– something women want to wear in their everyday lives -– with a certain carefree style. I think this is very Parisian: You dress up, but don’t pay too much attention to it, and you still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude."

We bet picking Marant was also an easy choice for H&M. After taking an avant garde risk with a Maison Martin Margiela collab in late 2012, H&M could use a mainstream hit. While Marant is not a household name like, say, Versace, the clothes will likely be widely understood by mainstream shoppers. Marant's specialties include skinny jeans, slouchy tees, boho prints, flirty skirts and those ubiquitous wedge sneakers.

And goodness knows the trendy American shopper is loving her some wedge sneakers these days.
