Hoeven: ’Law Enforcement Has Worked To Protect Everyone’ At Dakota Access Pipeline Protests
Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., on Wednesday said the Obama administration is “prolonging and intensifying” Dakota Access Pipeline protests by stalling approval of the Lake Oahe pipeline easement, which is “needlessly putting people at risk” and straining law enforcement resources. The floor speech echoes a letter Hoeven sent to the White House last week with North Dakota Republicans Rep. Kevin Cramer and Gov. Jack Dalrymple, calling on the administration to approve the easement.
