The waiting game is over, people... it's time to book holiday flights.
And according to the experts at Orbitz, there ARE indeed magical days to buy cheap tickets. Thanksgiving flights are predicted to hit their lowest prices on Oct.6, Christmas flights on Oct. 9 and New Years flights on Oct. 10.
So all in all, this week (the week of Oct. 5 - Oct. 12) is the best week to book your holiday flights, Orbitz experts say. But don't get too tangled waiting for the "perfect" day: If you see a well-priced flight, snap it up. They won't get any cheaper, unless you're really high on Santa's nice list.
