Our homes are filled with appliances and gadgets that make our lives easier. But whether they're designed to help us clean, cook or even to relax and enjoy our favorite music, it seems as soon as we cave in and buy these technologies, something new appears on the market that is faster, stronger and better.
Although certain advancements are a no-brainer (hello, iPhone!), there are some home products that we are more reluctant to give up. Maybe we think they do a better job, or maybe we're just a little sentimental, but although they are on their way out, we still find reasons to keep them around.
