'Homeland' Season 3 Spoilers: New Details Revealed By Alex Gansa

Major 'Homeland' Details Revealed

"Homeland" Season 3 will continue the Brody and Carrie saga, but that's not all it will tackle. While appearing on ABC News' "This Week With George Stephanopoulos," co-creator Alex Gansa let some new details slip about the third season of Showtime's "Homeland."

"The issue in this season is, what happens if it were learned that a major attack on the United States was sponsored by a state? These are the big concerns that we're going to deal with in the first sweep of episodes," Gansa said. "And then there's the big question about, you know, where Brody is?

"Does anybody know that Carrie helped him get out of the country?" Gansa said. "And will they ever see each other again?"

Season 3 of "Homeland" will also see the addition of several new faces. Joanna Merlin, Nazanin Boniadi, Amy Morton, Lawrence Clayton and Tracy Letts will all appear in Season 3.
