This Homeless Man Has Nothing, Yet Still Finds A Way To Give Back Every Day

It takes a special kind of person to not just feed someone in need, but do so before providing for himself.

Kamala Lochan Baliarsingh, a 60-year-old homeless man who finds shelter nightly near the Bhubaneswar railway station in Odisha, India, spends his days doing just that. He lost his job and family three decades ago, and cleans the rail platform for no wages at all, but cares for six or seven stray dogs by feeding them the food he finds daily before nourishing himself. He is surely experiencing hunger pangs of his own, but the fulfillment he feels from making sure his "pets" are well-fed is undeniable.

Ridhi Rohatgi, Raj Sampad and Siladitya Ray, artists behind live-action, short-film company Incendiary Films, noticed him -- a man who gives an entirely new meaning to generosity -- and created the video above documenting his incredible story.
